The Kazakhstan national football team represents Kazakhstan in international men's association football and is directed by Football Federation of Kazakhstan. After the country gained independence, they played their first match against Turkmenistan on June 1, 1992. The team was originally a member of AFC but joined the UEFA in 2002.
